About US

We Are a Committed Catalyst for Positive Change as a Vibrant CSO.

Established on October 28, 2019, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, O-YES Global Foundation is a vibrant youth and women focused, non-profit, and local civil socity organization committed to empowering youth and women through education, innovation, and leadership development. We envision a world where every young person and woman, regardless of background, has access to the tools and opportunities necessary to thrive. Since its inception, O-YES has expanded operations from Addis Ababa to several regions in Ethiopia including Addis Ababa, Dire Dawa, Harari, and Oromia — and extended its reach to the broader regions of Africa, Asia, and the UAE. Through inclusive and transformative initiatives, we have empowered thousands of young people and women by building capacity, enhancing leadership, and creating meaningful global connections

OUR KEY FOCUS AREAS

O-YES facilitates and offers seed funding to support youth and women entrepreneurs, provides training, mentorship, and coaching to build practical skills and confidence, and supports business incubation to grow sustainable enterprises. We create job opportunities through entrepreneurship and skills development, advocate for youth and women’s rights to promote inclusive policies, and organize national and international events and workshops to enable learning, networking, and community engagement.
